   उसे ऐसा लग रहा था , मानो वह वहाँ फिर कभी नहीं लौटेगा , पर उस दिन प्रातःकाल ये सारे दैनिक काम उसे बहुत ही हल्के लगे ; और जब उसने अंतिम बार फूल के पौधे को सींचा और उसको शीशे के गोले की ओट में रखने की तैयारी की , तो उसे रोना आने लगा और वह उसे रोक न सका -
